چکیده
Abstract Untreated banana peel (BP) is able to adsorb efficiently cationic dyes like methylene blue (MB) but weakly anionic orange G (OG). Removal of Cationic Dyes from Aqueous Solution using Organomodified Nanoclay
In this work, organomodified nanoclay has been used as the adsorbent for the removal ofbasic blue 41, cationic dye from an aqueous solution. The performance of the organomodified nanoclay was tested in a batch system under varying pH (2–12), adsorbent dosage (0.1–2 g L-1), initial dye concentration (10–60 mgL-1), and contact time (5- 100 min). The best conditions were achieved at pH of 7,...
متن کاملRemoval of Anionic Brown 14 and Cationic Blue 41 dyes via Fenton Process
Textile wastewater contains a number of dyes which are known to be toxic and carcinogenic. In this study the results show that the Fenton (Fe2+/H2O2) process is an efficient method for the removal of Acid Brown 14 (A.BR14) and Cationic Blue 41 (C.B41) dyes from textile wastewater. In this method, two reagents Fe2+and H2O2 are used and do not require any additional energy. Several experiment...

In this study, we used advanced oxidation process (AOP)for the removal of a cationic and anionic blue dyes, namely Basic Blue 3 (BB3) and Acid blue 62(AB62), from aqueous solutions. Fenton reactions are mixture of H2 O2 and Fe2+. However this paper investigates the application of twelve different catalysts such as: FeCl2 , FeSO4, (NH4 )Fe(SO4 )2 , FeCl3 , Nano iron (Fe0 ), Fe(NO3 )3 , K2FeO4 , ...

Batch Adsorption of Acid Red 37 (AR37) and Basic Orange 2 (BO2) on amino ethyl-functionalized SBA-15 have been studied. SBA-15 was synthesized and functionalized according to the procedure in the literature. Amino ethyl-functionalized SBA-15 showed the BET surface area 520 m2/g and pore diameter 7.02 nm, based on adsorption-desorption of N2. SEM image shows lengthy fib...
